2010
  • BACK FACTORY expands the gastronomic concept and enhances the network of branches by adding an integrated lounge cafe.
  • A new corporate design increases the high-value customer acceptance.
2009
  • BACK-FACTORY supports the community vacation festival “Spring in Ruhpolding” for the first time with the sale of 50,000 baked products.
  • Customers in focus: BACK FACTORY queries and analyses the purchase patterns of more than 3,000 customers.
  • Trading-up: BACK FACTORY opens the first shop boasting modern lounge design, with integrated self-service lounge café in October 2009, and becomes the first self-service bakery with a gastronomical concept.
2008
  • The company celebrates its 5 years of existence.
  • The BACK FACTORY head office establishes a system consultative committee whose members are elected annually by all the partners.
  • Start of an in-house coffee shop concept pilot project to make the coffee area in the BACK FACTORY more attractive.
  • Gets the test stamp of the German Franchise Association. Simultaneously, the system head office is certified within the framework of system check, for offering a high degree of satisfaction to the franchise partners.
2007
  • Opening of the 100th BACK FACTORY location in Erfurt
2006
  • A system-internal training department is established in the head office for the training and continued education of franchise partners and their employees.
2005
  • Signing of the 50the franchise agreement
2004
  • Opening of the 50th country-wide location in Bremen
  • The BACK FACTORY head office trains apprentices for the first time in the “Salesperson for office communication” area
2003
  • Barely 8 months after the opening of the first location; the 20th country-wide location is opened in Hamburg in April 2003!
2002
  • Opening of the first BACK-FACTORY branch in August 2002 in Bielefeld
